These
Terms govern the Converse All Star Giveaway, a promotional competition
conducted in Namibia under section 72 of the Lotteries Act, 2017 (Act No. 13 of
2017) and Part 10 of the Lotteries Regulations, 2021 (GN 256 of 2021). By
entering, you accept these Terms. Please read them before you enter.

1. PROMOTER
1.1 The Promoter is Synergy Foods (Pty) Ltd
(“the Promoter”), trading as KFC Namibia, of 29 Tacoma Street, Suiderhof,
Windhoek, Namibia.
1.2 Converse and
the proprietor of the Converse and All Star trademarks are not a promoter of,
sponsor of, or party to this competition and have no responsibility or
liability in connection with it. The marks are used under authority granted to
the Promoter.
2. LEGAL
STATUS OF THE COMPETITION
2.1 This competition is a promotional
competition as defined in section 1 of the Lotteries Act, 2017, conducted in
the ordinary course of the Promoter’s business for the purpose of promoting the
sale of its goods.
2.2 The competition is conducted wholly
within the Republic of Namibia. Only purchases made at Participating Stores in
Namibia qualify, and the draw takes place in Namibia.
2.3 The competition is not substantially
similar to any competition, game or sports pool conducted by or on behalf of
the State Lottery, and the prize is not substantially similar to any prize
offered in such a competition, game or sports pool during the competition
period.
2.4 Neither the competition nor any conduct
under it is substantially comparable to a business practice prohibited under
the Trade Practices Act, 1976 (Act No. 76 of 1976) or a restrictive practice
prohibited under the Competition Act, 2003 (Act No. 2 of 2003).
2.5 The Promoter conducts the competition
in accordance with Part 10 of the Lotteries Regulations, 2021.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1 The competition is open to Namibian
citizens, permanent residents and temporary residents aged 18 years or older
who are in possession of a valid Namibian identity document, passport or valid
legal permit.
3.2 A person may enter as often as they
wish, provided each entry is supported by a separate qualifying purchase and a
separate original till slip.
3.3 No person may win more than one prize
in this competition.
4. PERSONS
WHO MAY NOT PARTICIPAT
4.1 In accordance with regulation 55 of the
Lotteries Regulations, 2021, the following persons may not participate in the
competition and may not be awarded a prize:
(a) a director, member, partner, employee
or agent of, or a consultant to, the Promoter;
(b) a spouse, life partner, parent, child,
brother, sister, business partner or associate of a person referred to in
paragraph (a);
(c) any other person who directly or
indirectly controls, or is controlled by, the Promoter, and the directors,
members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of that person;
(d) the marketing service providers engaged
in respect of this competition, and their directors, members, partners,
employees, agents and consultants; and
(e) any person who, within the 183 days
preceding this competition, has won any competition organised, promoted or
conducted by the Promoter, or who uses the same telephone number as such a
winner.
4.2 The Promoter will alert prospective
participants to the exclusions in clause 4.1 in legible type in all advertising
material for the competition.
4.3 The persons responsible for conducting
the draw will declare under oath or affirmation that, to the best of their
knowledge, no prize winner falls within clause 4.1.
5. COMPETITION
PERIOD
5.1 The competition runs from store opening on Tuesday, 25 August 2026
until store closing on Monday, 5 October 2026 (“the Competition Period”).
5.2 Entries deposited before the
competition opens, or after close of trade on Monday, 5 October 2026, are not
valid and will not be considered.
5.3 All times referred to in these Terms
are Namibian time.
6. HOW
TO ENTER
6.1 To enter, a person must, during the
Competition Period:
(a) purchase a participating All Star Strip Box at a Participating Store,
in store or through the Park[Tv1]
& Collect channel;
(b) write their full name and contact
telephone number on the reverse of the original till
slip issued for that purchase, and may in addition write their shoe size and
email address, if the entrant has one, on the reverse of the original till slip issued for that
purchase; and
(c) deposit that till slip in the entry box
provided at that Participating Store.
6.2 A till slip that reflects the purchase
of a participating All Star Strip Box together
with any other menu item still qualifies.
6.3 Only original till slips qualify.
Photocopies, reproductions, altered till slips and till slips that are
illegible or incomplete will not be considered. Any entry is not invalid, and
will not be disqualified, by reason only that no shoe size or email address has
been recorded.
6.4 Entry into the competition constitutes
acceptance of these Terms.
6.5 The Promoter is not responsible for
entries that are not deposited in an entry box, or that are lost, damaged,
destroyed or rendered illegible before the draw.
6.6 All KFC restaurants in Namibia operated
by the Promoter are Participating Stores for the purposes of this competition,
excluding any restaurant that is temporarily closed or at which no entry box
has been placed. A list of Participating Stores is available free of charge on
request at any Participating Store and at kfcnamibia.com.
7. NO
ADDITIONAL PAYMENT TO ENTER OR TO RECEIVE A PRIZE
7.1 The price payable for a participating All Star Strips Box during the Competition
Period is the price ordinarily charged for that product, and is not increased
by reason of the opportunity to participate in the competition. No separate or
additional consideration of any kind is payable for the right to enter.
7.2 The opportunity to participate in the
competition is not the only, or the only substantial, inducement to purchase a
participating All Star Strip Box.
7.3 No fee or other consideration is
payable by a winner to any person in order to take possession of or use the
prize.
8. THE
PRIZE
8.1 60 prizes are offered. Each prize is
one pair of Converse All Star sneakers (canvas, low top, black or white).
8.2 The winner receives a standard pair of
sneakers in the style described in clause 8.1. Colour and size are subject to
availability, and the Promoter may substitute a comparable size or colour where
the size or colour requested is not available.
8.3 The prize is not transferable, not
exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash or any other item.
8.4 The prize is delivered to the winner
free of any charge. The Promoter bears the cost of the prize and of making it
available for collection.
9. THE
DRAW AND SELECTION OF WINNERS
9.1 All valid entries deposited at all
Participating Stores will be consolidated and the winners drawn at random from
those entries in a single draw on Tuesday, 13 October 2026 at Windhoek commencing at 12h00.
9.2 Winners are determined by chance and
not by skill. No element of the draw depends on the merit of any entry.
9.3 20 reserve entrants will be drawn, in order, at the same
draw. A reserve entrant becomes entitled to a prize only if a drawn entrant is
disqualified, cannot be contacted in accordance with clause 11, or forfeits or
declines the prize. If an entry is drawn in the name of a person who has
already been drawn as a winner or reserve entrant, that entry is set aside and
a further entry is drawn in its place. The Promoter may draw further reserve
entrants at the same draw.
9.4 The draw is not open to the general
public.
9.5 The Promoter will record the names and
identity numbers of the persons who conduct the draw, the date and place of the
draw, and the basis on which the winners were determined.
10. INDEPENDENT
VERIFICATION
10.1 As required by regulation 57(1) of the
Lotteries Regulations, 2021, the conduct of the competition and the draw will
be overseen and certified by Roedeen April, Grant Thorton.
10.2 The certification will be reported
through the Promoter’s internal audit reporting process or other appropriate
validation or verification procedures of the Promoter.
11. NOTIFICATION
AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
11.1 Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 13
October 2026 and will be contacted on the telephone number written on their
till slip.
11.2 The names of the winners will be
published on the KFC Namibia Facebook page and Instagram
account and on kfcnamibia.com once eligibility
has been confirmed. The manner and date of the
announcement is published in the advertising material for the competition.
11.3 If a drawn entrant cannot be reached
after six attempts within 48 hours of the first attempt, that entrant forfeits
the prize and the first available reserve entrant is contacted in their place.
11.4 The Promoter will record the steps taken
to contact any drawn entrant who could not be reached.
12. VERIFICATION
AND CLAIMING OF PRIZES
12.1 A drawn entrant must produce a valid
Namibian identity document, passport or valid legal permit to confirm
eligibility. The Promoter will not hand over a prize until eligibility has been
confirmed.
12.2 A drawn entrant may be required to
confirm in writing, at the time of collection, that they do not fall within any
category listed in clause 4.1.
12.3 Winners will be contacted telephonically and invited to
collect their prize on the day of the giveaway. Prizes not collected on that
day will be available for collection at the Participating Store at which the
entry was deposited, from 16 October 2026, and must be collected by 14 December
2026. A prize not collected by that date is forfeited. Where that store is
closed or is no longer a Participating Store, the Promoter will nominate an
alternative collection point and notify the winner.
12.4 A winner will be required to sign an
acknowledgement of receipt of the prize recording their identity number and the
date of receipt.
12.5 If a drawn entrant fails to comply with
these Terms, the Promoter may disqualify that entrant and award the prize to a
reserve entrant.
12.6 Where the name on the identity document
produced does not correspond with the name recorded on the entry, the Promoter
may decline to hand over the prize, disqualify the entrant and award the prize
to a reserve entrant in accordance with clause 9.3.
13. DISQUALIFICATION
13.1 An entry that does not comply with these
Terms may be disqualified.
13.2 The Promoter may disqualify an entrant
who has tampered with an entry or a till slip, submitted a forged or altered
till slip, or otherwise sought to interfere with the fair conduct of the
competition, and may report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
14. PUBLICITY
AND USE OF WINNER IMAGES
14.1 No image or likeness of a winner will be
used for marketing purposes without that winner’s prior express written
consent. Where consent is given, the use will be limited to the agreed purpose
and does not entitle the winner to any additional payment.
14.2 A winner is not obliged to endorse,
promote or advertise the goods or services of the Promoter, to take part in any
marketing activity, or to be present when the draw takes place or the winners
are announced. A winner may decline any such invitation without affecting their
entitlement to the prize, and will be informed of that right at the time the
invitation is made.
15. INTELLECTUAL
PROPERTY
15.1 No creative submission is required to
enter this competition. An entry consists only of an original till slip bearing
the entrant’s name and contact details.
15.2 Till slips deposited in an entry box are
retained by the Promoter for the purposes of the draw, verification and the
record-keeping obligations in clause 17, and are not returned.
16. PERSONAL
INFORMATION
16.1 To enter, an entrant provides their name,
contact telephone number and must
include their shoe size, and an email address if the entrant has one, and a drawn entrant is required to provide proof of
identity. The Promoter collects and processes this information solely for the
purposes of conducting the competition, verifying eligibility, awarding and
delivering prizes, announcing the results of the competition including
publication of the names of winners, and complying with its record-keeping
obligations under the Lotteries Regulations, 2021
16.2 The Promoter processes personal
information in a manner consistent with the right to privacy guaranteed by
Article 13 of the Namibian Constitution, with the common law, and with the data
protection principles reflected in the Namibian Data Protection Bill, which the
Promoter applies as a voluntary standard pending its enactment.
16.3 The Promoter will not sell an entrant’s
personal information, share it with unauthorised third parties, or use it for
any purpose unrelated to this competition. It may be shared with the
independent verifier referred to in clause 10, with the Lotteries Board on
request, and with service providers engaged to administer the competition, each
of whom is bound to use it only for that purpose.
16.4 Personal information will be retained for
the period required by regulation 57(4), being at least three years, and will
then be securely destroyed unless a longer retention period is required by law.
16.5 An entrant may request access to the
personal information the Promoter holds about them by written notice to the
Promoter at the address in clause 1. The Promoter can provide only the
information it actually holds, and an entry can be identified only from the
details written on the till slip deposited.
16.6 The details written on a till slip cannot
be altered once it has been deposited, and the entry will be drawn on the basis
of the details as recorded. Where the Promoter contacts a drawn entrant, that
entrant may provide alternative contact details for the purpose of arranging
collection, but no change may be made to the name recorded on the entry.
17. RECORDS
17.1 The Promoter will retain, for at least
three years, the records required by regulation 57(4) of the Lotteries
Regulations, 2021, including the rules of the competition, the offer to
participate, a full list of prizes, a representative selection of marketing
material and a record of when and where it was used, the details of the persons
responsible for conducting the competition and the draw, the basis on which
winners were determined, the list of winners, the dates on which prizes were
handed over, and the signed acknowledgements of receipt.
17.2 The Promoter will submit a report based
on those records to the Lotteries Board immediately on written request, at its
own expense.
18. LIABILITY
AND INDEMNITY
18.1 All risk in a prize passes to the winner
on delivery or collection.
18.2 The Promoter is not liable for any loss,
damage or injury arising after a prize has been delivered to or collected by
the winner, except to the extent that such loss, damage or injury is caused by
the gross negligence or unlawful conduct of the Promoter.
18.3 Each entrant indemnifies the Promoter,
its advertising agencies, suppliers and nominated agents against any claim,
damage or loss arising from their participation in the competition or their
acceptance of a prize, except where caused by the gross negligence or unlawful
conduct of the Promoter or the party claiming indemnity.
18.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits
any liability that may not lawfully be excluded or limited.
19. TECHNICAL
AND HUMAN ERROR
19.1 The Promoter is not responsible for
technical or human errors that cause an entry to be lost, delayed, misdirected,
damaged or corrupted, including point-of-sale system failures, printing
failures and connectivity issues, except where caused by the gross negligence
of the Promoter.
20. AMENDMENT
AND TERMINATION
20.1 The Promoter may terminate or amend the
competition with immediate effect for lawful reasons beyond its reasonable control
or where required to do so by the Lotteries Board, the Minister or any other
competent authority.
20.2 If the competition is terminated or
amended, the Promoter will give notice of that fact through the same media used
to announce the competition, and entrants will have no claim against the
Promoter, its agents or its staff arising from the termination or amendment.
20.3 If the Minister declares this competition
unlawful under section 72(5) of the Act, the Promoter will immediately cease to
conduct it and will immediately instruct its agents and every other person
connected with it to terminate all activity connected with its conduct.
21. DECISIONS
21.1 The Promoter’s decision on any matter
concerning the competition, including the validity of an entry and the
identification of a winner, is final, and no correspondence will be entered
into.
22. GENERAL
22.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of
the Republic of Namibia, and the Namibian courts have jurisdiction.
22.2 If any provision of these Terms is found
to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining
provisions continue in force.
22.3 These Terms prevail over any advertising
or point-of-sale material relating to the competition to the extent of any
inconsistency.
22.4 A copy of these Terms may be obtained
free of charge on request at any Participating Store and at kfcnamibia.com.
22.5 Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.'
1. The Promoter is Synergy Foods PTY LTD (“The Promoter), Trading as KFC Namibia.
2. The competition is open to all Namibian Citizens, permanent or temporary Residents above the age of 18 and who are in possession of a valid identity document/ passport/ valid legal permit; except directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter or marketing service providers in respect of the promotional competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, or anyone who within a period of 183 days preceding this competition has won any competition organised, promoted, or conducted by the Promoter, or who resides at the same address as such a winner, or who uses the same telephone number to enter this competition.
3. This competition is open from 06:00 am on 17 March 2026 until midnight on 20 April 2026. Any entries received after midnight on the last day will not be valid and not be considered.
4. To enter, customers need to purchase participating KFC Buckets (9pc;15pc; 21pc, 24pc Wings)
a. Scan the QR Code on the KFC promotional packs.
b. Complete the WhatsApp user journey.
c. Upload a valid till slip as proof of purchase.
5. Prizes
a. Number of winners– 10
b. How to enter – buy 9pc, 15pc, 21pc chicken on the bone (COB) or 24 pc wings bucket, scan QR code and upload till slip, for your chance to win.
c. The prize consists of a 21pc COB bucket awarded weekly for a total of 35 weeks, ending on 25 December 2026. Each week, the winner will receive a new Yoyo code sent to the same telephone number used to enter the competition. To redeem the prize, the winner must present the Yoyo code to the cashier during the cash-up process. All Yoyo codes will expire 30 April 2027.
d. Prizes will start 1 week after campaign end date.
e. Two winners will be selected weekly by means of random draw by the promotional agency (TLC Rewards).
f. Campaign dates: 17 March – 20 April 2026
g. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and not transferable.
h. Winners will be notified by promotional agency (TLC Rewards) and contacted on the same number and/or email used to enter the promotion.
i. Failure to claim the prize or a refusal or inability to comply herewith will disqualify the winner and a new winner may be drawn in their place at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
j. Kindly Note : Although reference is made to '' Bottomless Bucket '' this is a marketing term and the prie is as described above.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entries suspected of being fraudulent, including altered till slips, duplicated entries, or automated submissions. To avoid any doubt, each valid till slip may only be used once to enter the competition.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, deleted, or inaccessible Yoyo codes. Such codes will not be reissued and the applicable weekly prize will be forfeited.
8. All risks in the prizes pass to the winner upon notification of having won a prize. Where necessary, the winner shall ensure that all prizes are insured against all risks including damage to the prize as well as damage to third party property and persons. Such insurance is for the cost of the winner and neither the Promoter nor any other party associated with the competition will be liable for the costs thereof or be liable should such insurance not be in place.
9. The Promoter shall have the right to terminate the competition immediately and without notice for any reason beyond its control requiring this. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter, its agents, and staff, this will be done with prior permission from the Gambling Authority of Namibia.
10. All guarantees for any tangible prizes which are won are carried by the manufacturer and or supplier thereof and not by the Promoter who funds the purchase of the prizes but is not the supplier thereof and the Promoter makes no warranties, whether explicit or implied with respect to the prizes.
11. Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules.
12. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Entrants may be required to provide personal information such as name, contact details, and proof of identity. The Promoter will collect and process personal data in accordance with the principles set out in the Namibian Constitution (Article 13) and the Draft Data Protection Bill, solely for the purpose of this competition. By entering, you consent to the storage, transfer, and processing of your data in Namibia and, where applicable, across borders in compliance with the Draft Bill. You may withdraw consent at any time prior to taking delivery of the prize by written notice to the Promoter; however, in terms of applicable consumer protection laws, the Promoter has a statutory obligation to store all winner data. The Promoter will not share your personal information with unauthorized third parties or use it for unrelated purposes.
14. By providing a submission, you warrant that it is your own original work and that you are the owner of any intellectual property therein and grant the Promoter and its affiliated companies the perpetual royalty free right, except where prohibited by law, to use the contents thereof for any purpose whatsoever and to use your name for Competition purposes in promoting or publicising the Competition, including right to name the winner(s) of the prize(s) in public and/or any social media forum. The Promoter, however, does not have any obligation to use the winning entries for any purpose. No images will be taken of the winner to be used for marketing purposes unless express written permission is obtained from the winner beforehand. Where such permission has been obtained the images will be used only for the purpose as set out in the consent, without any further remuneration being made payable to the winner. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
15. All entrants indemnify the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, suppliers, and nominated agents against all claims, damages or losses resulting from their participation in this Competition arising from negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter.
16. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any
problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Competition
KFC Namibia 2025 Win a Car Competition
1. Promoter:
The Promoter is Synergy Foods (Pty) Ltd (“The Promoter”) trading as KFC Namibia.
2. Eligibility:
The competition is open to all Namibia citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents aged 18 years or older, who are in possession of a valid identity document passport or valid legal permit.
3. The following individuals are excluded from participation:
3.1 Directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter.
3.2 Marketing service providers in respect of the promotional competition
3.3 The spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of the above.
3.4 Anyone who within a period of 90 days preceding this competition has won any competition organised, promoted, or conducted by the Promoter, or who resides at the same address as such a winner, or who uses the same telephone number as such a winner.
4. Competition Period:
This competition runs from the 18 November 2025 to 05 January 2026. Entries received after midnight on the 05 January 2026 will not be valid and not be considered.
5. Delivery of Prize
The prize will be awarded and collected within 30 days from the date of the draw at Zimmerman Garage, Windhoek for the vetted winner who has accepted and complied with these Terms and Conditions.
6. How to Enter:
6.1 Purchase a participating KFC Bucket (9, 15, 21 pieces), in store or via the Park & Order channels and write your name and contact details at the back of till slip and drop the till slip in the competition boxes provided in-store. Till slip entries with any other additional menu products included with the purchase of the participating KFC Bucket, still qualify.
6.2 Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which must be agreed to for the entry to be valid.
7. Winner selection:
7.1 The winner will be selected by means of a random draw conducted by the Promoter or a person appointed by the Promoter. The draw will take place during the month of January 2026 at a date to be decided by the Promoter.
7.2 The draw process will be audited or independently verified to ensure fairness and compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and its Regulations.
7.3 The selected winner will then be independently vetted by an impartial third-party service provider to confirm eligibility and ensure that the selection and award process remains fair, transparent and legally compliance.
8. Disqualification:
Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified. Any documentation required to prove compliance with the competition Terms and Conditions such as original ID documents must be available for inspection within 24 hours of being contacted as a possible winner.
9. Prize:
9.1 One VW POLO VIVO 1.4 LIFE (no optional accessories and extras) vehicle will be awarded.
9.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangable, and may not be redeemed for cash or any other item.
10. Winner Notification
If a winner cannot be contacted after six (6) attempts within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
11. Prize Claiming
11.1 Vetted and verified winners will be contacted for collection of their prize at Zimmerman Garage, Windhoek 30 days from the day of the draw.
11.2 Winners will be required to provide valid identification (Namibian ID, driver’s licence, passport or valid permit) and sign a receipt for the prize.
11.3 If the winner does not own a valid driver’s license or is unable to produce their driver’s license the winner must nominate a driver with a valid driver’s license.
11.4 If a winner cannot claim the prize or fails to comply with the terms, the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner at its sole discretion.
11.5 A winner must be able to arrange registration of the vehicle within 30 days and shall not remove the vehicle from Zimmerman Garage, Windhoek until the vehicle is insured and registration or temporary registration has been arranged.
11.6 The Promoter will not be responsible for any license or registration fees to ensure transfer of ownership.
12. Risk and Insurance:
12.1 All risk in the prize passes to the winner upon delivery or collection of the prize.
12.2 The winner is responsible for arranging and maintaining insurance for their prize (including third-party and damage insurance), however, until delivery or collection, Zimmerman Garage, Windhoek will insure the prize.
12.3 The winner is responsible for arranging and maintaining petrol for personal use.
12.4 The winner will receive a standard VW POLO VIVO 1.4 LIFE (no optional accessories and extras) with no additional features.
12.5 The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury once ownership has transferred to the winner.
13. Termination:
The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or amend the competition immediately for lawful reasons beyond its control.

16.3 You may withdraw consent at any time prior to taking delivery of the prize by written notice to the Promoter; however, in terms of applicable consumer protection laws, the Promoter has a statutory obligation to store all winner data.
16.4 The Promoter will not share your personal information with unauthorized third parties or use it for unrelated purposes.
17. Intellectual Property & Publicity:
17.1 By entering, you warrant that your submission (if any) is your original work and that you own any intellectual property rights therein.
17.2 You grant the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use your submission for promotional or publicity purposes, unless prohibited by law.
17.3 No images or likenesses of winners will be used for marketing purposes without express written consent. Where consent is granted, such use will be limited to the agreed purpose and will not entitle the winner to additional remuneration.
17.4 All entries become the property of the Promoter
18. Indemnity: All entrants indemnify the Promoter, its advertising agencies, suppliers, and nominated agents against any claims, damages, or losses arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of a prize, except if caused by the Promoter’s gross negligence.
19. Technical Failures: The Promoter is not responsible for any technical or human errors that may cause entries to be lost, delayed, misdirected, or corrupted, including but not limited to network failures, computer malfunctions, or connectivity issues
KFC Eveline Competition
1. Promoter:
The Promoter is Synergy Foods (Pty) Ltd (“The Promoter”) trading as KFC Namibia.
2. Participating Store:
This competition is store-specific and valid only at KFC Eveline, ERP 296 Eveline Street, Goreangab, Windhoek, Namibia. Only in-store purchases at KFC Eveline qualify. Purchases made through delivery platforms, online ordering, or other KFC stores in Namibia do not constitute valid entries.
3. Eligibility:
The competition is open to all Namibia citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents aged 18 years or older, who are in possession of a valid identity document, passport or valid legal permit.
4. The following individuals are excluded from participation:
4.1 Directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter.
4.2 Marketing service providers in respect of the promotional competition
4.3 The spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of the above.
4.4 Anyone who within a period of 90 days preceding this competition has won any competition organised, promoted, or conducted by the Promoter, or who resides at the same address as such a winner, or who uses the same telephone number as such a winner.
5. Competition Period:
This competition runs from the 24 February 2026 to 30 April 2026. Eligible entries for each weekly draw will be those received from Tuesday to the following Monday, immediately preceding the Tuesday draw. Entries received outside this period will not be considered for that week’s draw.
6. Delivery of Prize
The prize must be collected within 30 days from the date of the draw. Collection of the prize will take place either at the participating KFC store or at the KFC Namibia Head Office, as agreed with the vetted winner. The internal authority responsible, appointed by the Promoter, will contact the winner directly to confirm and agree on the preferred collection point, subject to the winner’s acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. If a prize remains unclaimed after 30 days despite reasonable attempts to contact the winner, the prize will be forfeited without further liability to the Promoter.
7. How to Enter:
7.1 To enter, the participant must spend N$100 (one hundred Namibian Dollars) or more in a single transaction at the Participating Store. No additional fee will be charged for participation. At the time of purchase, the participant must provide their mobile telephone number to the cashier, who will capture the number on the Yoyo platform immediately. An SMS will be received by the entrant as confirmation of entry. No other method of entry will be accepted.
7.2 Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which must be agreed to for the entry to be valid.
8. Winner selection:
8.1 Two winners will be selected by means of a random draw conducted on a Tuesday by the internal authority responsible, appointed by the Promoter to ensure proper adherence to these Terms and Conditions.
9. Disqualification:
9.1 Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified. Any documentation required to prove compliance with the competition Terms and Conditions such as original ID documents must be available for inspection within 24 hours of being contacted as a possible winner.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, manipulated, or obtained through technological tampering or misuse of the Yoyo platform.
10. Weekly Prizes:
10.1 Specialized mountain bicycle x 2 (two) (no optional accessories and extras).
10.2 JBL speaker x 2 (two) (no optional accessories and extras).
10.3 Stanley bottle x 2 (two) (no optional accessories and extras).
10.4 N$200 airtime vouchers x 10 (ten) from MTC Namibia.
10.5 The prize awarded to a winner will be selected at random by the internal authority responsible, appointed by the Promoter from Tuesday to the following Monday, immediately preceding the Tuesday draw. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash or any other item.
11. Winner Notification
If a winner cannot be contacted after six (6) attempts within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
12. Prize Claiming
12.1 Vetted and verified winners will be contacted for collection of their prize.
12.2 Winners will be required to provide valid identification (Namibian ID, driver’s licence, passport or valid permit) and sign a receipt for the prize.
12.3 If a winner cannot claim the prize or fails to comply with the terms, the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner at its sole discretion.
13. Risk and Insurance:
13.1 All risk in the prize passes to the winner upon collection of the prize.
13.2 Where necessary, the winner shall ensure that all prizes are insured against all risks including damage to the prize as well as damage to third party property and persons. Such insurance is for the cost of the winner and neither the Promoter nor any other party associated with the competition will be liable for the costs thereof or be liable should such insurance not be in place.
13.3 The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury once ownership has transferred to the winner.
